AbstractAbstract
[en] A diagnostic to study plasma density fluctuations, Phase Contrast Imaging (PCI) has been developed for the Texas Experimental Tokamak-Upgrade. The diagnostic has a sensitivity of about 10-4 ne0 and is capable of detecting a wide range of wavenumbers (0.5 cm-1 - 12 cm-1) with a bandwidth of 500 Khz. The design of the diagnostic, some results of acoustic calibration tests and preliminary results of simulation of expected spectra are presented
