AbstractAbstract
[en] Mechanism of harmful impurities effect on fracture of high-strength medium-carbon steels is studied. The corrosion-resistant martensite-aging steel 08Kh15N5D2T, secondary-aging steels of the 32Kh2N6MF-type, etc. were investigated. It is shown that phosphorus and sulfur intergrain adsorption decreases fracture viscosity of high-strength steels whereby two types of fracture-shallow-pitted and shear ones - are realized. 5 refs.; 5 figs.; 2 tabs
