[en] We applied MR imaging for early diagnosis of occult osteochondral injuries of the knee and stress fracture of the tibia. Although MR imaging seemed extremely useful in the detection of fracture lesions, there was a falsa-positive case in the stress fracture cases. MR imaging should be placed as a secondary examination to radiography. (author)
