[en] Available as short communication only. One of the characteristics of U O2 pastille is high fragileness after post-irradiation due to significant change of structural properties. This fragileness makes it difficult for the preparation of metallographic/ceramographic sample by conventional techniques. For this reason it is necessary to coat the sample by this impregnation in vacuum, in one of the steps of sample preparation. This paper described an equipment for coating of metallographic/ceramographic samples by impregnation in vacuum which was especially fabricated to be remotely operated. (author). 2 refs, 1 fig
