AbstractAbstract
[en] Quasi-monoenergetic neutron fields above 20 MeV have been developed from Li(p,n) reaction at three laboratories in Japan (INS-SF cyclotron. CYRIC-AVF cyclotron and TIARA-AVF cyclotron) and are evaluated based on the measurement of the energy spectra. Penetration of 40.5 MeV monoenergetic neutrons (43 MeV proton energy) at TIARA through iron and concrete was investigated and the result agreed well with calculation with MORSE code using the cross section of DLC-119/HILO 86. Measurements of neutron activation and nuclear spallation cross section were carried out at INS and TIARA and the results were examined. (T.H.)
