AbstractAbstract
[en] In this paper, the three-dimensional module of CATHARE 2 is presented. It is based on a two-phase-flow six-equation model. A predictor/corrector multistep method, with an implicit behavior, is used to discretize the equations. Blowdown and boil-of analytical tests are used for an initial validation of the module. UPTF downcomer refill tests simulating the refill phase of a large-break loss-of-coolant accident are calculated. Additional models, including molecular and turbulent diffusion, are added in order to perform containment calculations
