AbstractAbstract
[en] A 2D-method for neutron flux calculations based on the discrete ordinates code DORT is described and results from the validation procedure are presented. The method predicts the neutron flux density well outside a BWR reactor core, especially the fast flux (>1 MeV), which is of importance for material degradation. (orig.) (5 refs., 4 figs., 1 tab.)
