[en] This article considers the point of view of a possible beneficial effect of low dose irradiation to protect human cells against some kind of cancers. This effect, called hormesis, has been related in some studies about Hiroshima consequences. This way deserves to be explored as well for a rational use of nuclear industry as not to bother the applications of medical radiology. (N.C.)
