AbstractAbstract
[en] The problem inverse to the electronuclear breeding - burning of plutonium -is considered. Its main peculiarities can be studied by means of a hybrid setup which is obtained by a combination of the equipment available at JINR: the 650 MeV cyclotron and the subcritical plutonium assembly using a part of the core of the IBR-30 reactor. The power generated in this setup is about 10 kW and more. The setup can be also used for the investigation of the admissible boundaries for the coefficient Keff, its possible fluctuations and other yet unsolved problems of the electronuclear technology.
