AbstractAbstract
[en] This report discusses the consequences of emissions to air from the petroleum industry at Haltenbanken. The evaluation includes prognoses for photochemical activity, concentration distributions and deposition of nitrogen and sulphur for the years 2000, 2009 and a base alternative for 2000 but with different emissions. The greatest emission of nitrogen oxides comes from ships, especially from shuttle tankers. The gas turbines give the greatest NOx emission from stationary installations. Hydrocarbon emission is largely due to buoy loading. The emissions of NOx, CO, methane and NMVOC from Haltenbanken are considerable compared to the total emissions from the Norwegian shelf of the North Sea and also from continental Norway. The report discusses calculated impact of the emissions at some measurement stations in that part of Norway which will be affected by the emissions, for each of the three alternatives. 62 refs., 13 figs., 12 tabs
