AbstractAbstract
[en] A two-dimensional position sensitive silicon detector was tested. Linearity and resolution of the position were investigated and found to be better than 50 μ m. To estimate the spatial resolution we have used a laser diode mounted on a X-Y table. An example of sweeping of the active area of the detector is presented. Initially, conceived to improve the two-particle correlation measurements, these detectors could be of interest in experiments requiring precise kinematical reconstructions
