AbstractAbstract
[en] The deep processes in nuclei show clearly a disagreement between the conventional nuclear physics computation and experimental results. K+ scattering and quasielastic electron scattering from nuclei are expected to provide information about the nucleus and mesons in the inner regions of nuclei. The K+ - nucleus cross sections and the quasielastic electron-nucleus response functions have been calculated taking into account the same in-medium dressing of the nucleons and the same coupling of the σ and ω mesons to the polarization of nuclear matter. We obtain a good agreement with experimental data for the two processes as well as for the energy density in nuclear matter, the real path of the nucleon-nucleus optical potential and the nucleon mean free path in nuclear matter. The coherence of the overall results seems to indicate that in the realistic description of the dense nuclear matter we proceed in the right direction
