[en] It is noted, that at the Inst. of Radiation Protection and Ecology of the National Nuclear Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan scientific investigations are carried out on comprehensive evolution of radiological situation and study of biologic consequences of radiation contamination of environment on territory of the former Semipalatinsk test site (STS). It is known, that world scientific practice does not had analog similar to STS, and all of its territory is natural radiological laboratory where is possibility for duration study radioecological processes. Study of nuclear testings consequences on alive organisms give possibility to: a) define regularities of chronic action of radiation on level of organisms, populations, ecosystems in total; b) assessment of biological effects of low radiation doses
