AbstractAbstract
[en] The medical imaging, in spite of new techniques continues to be the principal irradiation cause in our country since the delivered dose is estimated to 1 MSv by french and by year. The radiotherapy contributes for 0.7 mSv but concerns only 150 000 patients each year. The radiological consumption increases in 2 % by year and one can estimate before ten years almost every child will have at least one radiological examination. The European directive EURATOM 9743 must be the opportunity to be aware of this problem. The principles of justification, optimization and radiation doses reduction must be applied with more strictness. (N.C.)
