[en] The actions of O.F.S.P. (Federal office of public health) centre around the fundamental principles of radiation protection: justification of practices, limitation of radiation exposure and radiation protection optimization. The O.F.S.P. is the authority entitled to recognize the training in radiation protection in the medical sector, the environmental surveillance and the appreciation in health point of view. The Switzerland favours the public health aspect face to the purely scientific aspect, it follows an easier communication, fit to reinforce the public relation and the confidence toward authorities.
