[en] A small multicusp H^- source was tested. Negative ion current from the source was measured in the injection line of the C-30 SINS cyclotron at different discharge parameters, plasma electrode bias potentials, plasma electrode positions and magnetic filter field intensities. So far, the H^- intensities measured at two different positions in the beam transport line reached 0.5 mA and 0.4 mA. Electrons are extracted from the plasma chamber together with H^- ions. Step were taken to reduce the electron current to the extractor electrode. (author)
