[en] The analysis was done of the spectra of the primary gamma-rays from the radiative capture of the 14.1 MeV neutrons by ⁴⁰Ca, ⁵⁹Co, ⁸⁹Y, ⁹³Nb, ¹⁴⁰Ce and ²⁰⁸Pb nuclei. The analysis is based on a generalized model of semidirect capture developed by the authors which takes into account higher orders of this process, connected with the preliminary excitation of the low-lying collective states of the target nucleus. Inclusion of this mechanism results in a richer spectrum of hard gamma-rays in all the accessible energy range including the region near the threshold of neutron emission. The results obtained are in good agreement with the experimental data
