AbstractAbstract
[en] High field magnetization has been studied for intermetallic compounds R7Rh3 (R=Tb, Dy, Ho and Er) in the magnetic fields up to 28 T at 1.6 K. For Tb7Rh3, three successive metamagnetic transitions accompanying a large hysteresis were found. In Dy7Rh3, there are four metamagnetic transitions with hysteresis and remanent magnetization. Ho7Rh3 and Er7Rh3 show slight hysteresis and metamagnetic transitions were recognized by small anomalies in M-H curves. All these compounds have large magnetic anisotropy and magnetizations are not saturated even at 28 T. These metamagnetic transitions indicates the complex magnetic structures and large crystal electrical field effects in hexagonal heavy rare earth R7Rh3 system. (author)
