AbstractAbstract
[en] Chemiluminescence (CL) is applied for dose reduction in combination with organic substances such as sugar (saccharose), sugar substitutes etc., and therefore it can be used, according to the environmental material, for direct personal dosimetry or local dosimetry (in tables, household sugar etc.). Due to the strong resemblance of these organic substances to that of human tissue in the over-all chemical composition, the mechanisms of energy transfer and the energy dependence are very similar to that of the human tissue. It is disadvantageous that the lower detection limit is not significantly below 1 Gy. This study investigates the dosimetric and energy-dependent behaviour of German and Korean sugar (GSW, KSW, KSB) and of sugar substitutes (Sionon, Sorbitol). (orig./MG)
