AbstractAbstract
[en] The author presents a new theoretical method for the computation of coincidence summing correction coefficient. This method uses Monte-Carlo simulation to compute the coincidence summing correction coefficients of γ photons when 60Co point source is at a certain height from the detector, according to the fact that the angles formed by two adjacent photons from decay follow certain distribution. Results show that the coincidence summing correction coefficient decreases as height increases
