AbstractAbstract
[en] Nuclear track etch technique is increasingly being used for monitoring environmental ionizing radiations under different conditions. Track etch detectors retain damage caused by a passing nuclear particle and can be enhanced by suitable chemical etching and made visible with the help of an optical microscope or spark counter. This technique has been widely used in many diverse fields such as in obtaining premonitory signals of earthquake, uranium exploration and environmental radon monitoring. In this paper the passive measurements of radon decay products have been performed in potential alpha energy concentration (PAEC) of some dwellings
