AbstractAbstract
[en] The phenomenon of multifragmentation observed in intermediate energy heavy-ion reactions, is a characteristic decay process of low dense nuclear matter, which embodies a variety of exotic features of nuclear dynamics. The understanding of the mechanism of this reaction has been in the frontier of nuclear physics in this decade. A model named Dynamic Statistical Multifragmentation (DSM) model is developed, suitable for description of this phenomenon and thereby unearth the underlying mechanism
