[en] The South Korean national electrician, Korea Electric Power company (KEPCo) has confirmed, at the end of august 2000, the construction launch of two new nuclear units of 950 electric megawatts. The conception is the same that this one of Uljin 3 and 4 and Yonggwang 3,4,5 and 6. These reactors are , in fact, westinghouse reactors; they will be build close the nuclear power plant of Kori, from which their name of new Kori 1 and 2. These two units should be put into service from 2009. (N.C.)
