AbstractAbstract
[en] The fusion of 9,11 Li with Si and C targets has been experimentally investigated. The neutron spectra in the 0.5-22.5 MeV energy range, corresponding to 9 Li and 11 Li projectiles, have been measured by the aid of the RIKEN 'long neutron wall'. In the case of 9 Li the neutron spectrum is in good agreement with the Monte Carlo calculated fusion-evaporation spectrum. In the case of 11 Li the neutron spectrum shows that an important number of fusions, are preceded by the breakup of one or two halo neutrons. A model for the neutron pre-emission probability estimation has been worked out. Good qualitative agreement with the experimentally measuremed value has been obtained. The recent results showing that the neutrons within the observed 'narrow component' of the position spectra are emitted in pairs, will also be presented.(author)
