[en] Starting from a general expression for the surface tension γ of a binary mixture, a criterion is derived which indicates if and at which temperature the temperature derivative of the surface tension, dγ/dT, changes sign. An explicit and simple equation for this temperature is obtained by using the ideal solution model. (orig.)
