AbstractAbstract
[en] This paper will focus on public perceptions of the Canadian Nuclear Fuel Waste (NFW) Disposal Concept. An analysis of the 1990 Hearings conducted as part of the Environmental Assessment undertaken by the Canadian federal government, and results from a survey of residents from three northern Ontario communities will be presented. The results are discussed in the context of developing a process for the eventual siting the Canadian NFW disposal facility. (author)
