[en] Meeting between Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and Russian organization on consideration of problems of immobilization of excess quantities of armament plutonium in Russia took place in St Petersburg in 1999. Reports were joined into two block: plutonium immobilization and technology and industrial immobilization. All the reports were joined by general idea of nonproliferation of fissile materials, safety of radioactive wastes and solution of radioecological problems in Russia and in the world as a whole

В 1999 г. в Санкт-Петербурге проходил семинар по рассмотрению состояния работ между Ливерморской национальной лабораторией имени Лоуренса и российскими организациями по проблеме иммобилизации избыточных количеств оружейного плутония в России. Доклады были объединены в два блока: иммобилизация плутония и технология и промышленная иммобилизация. Все доклады были объединены общей идеей нераспространения делящихся материалов, безопасности ядерных отходов и решения радиоэкологических проблем России и в целом в миреJournal
