[en] During september and october 2000, 37 events were recorded at the first grade of the INES scale, 30 occurred in nuclear power plants and 7 in other nuclear facilities. 4 generic anomalies have been detected by EDF: 1) the management of radioactive sources does not comply with regulations in some installations; 2) supports of some equipment from primary, secondary or auxiliary circuits are fixed to the main structure by means of prestressed steel bars, the prestress appears to be insufficient; 3) some check valves whose purpose is to isolate the primary circuit from other connected circuits have been found in open-blocked position; and 4) the reserve of water present in recirculation piping systems of the safety injection circuit (RIS) and of the spray circuit (EAS) has been insufficient in some installations. During this period 115 on-site inspections have been led in nuclear facilities. (A.C.)
