AbstractAbstract
[en] Energy-dispersive x-ray diffraction (EDXD), with synchrotron radiation and diamond anvil cells (DAC), is used with different pressure sensors to determine the lattice parameters and equations of state (EOS) at room temperature, and pressures up to typically 40 GPa, for KBr, KI, RbCl, RbBr, RbI, CsCl, and CsBr. A comparison with previous literature data obtained by various techniques, and for different ranges of pressure indicates that all of the data fit to a recently proposed 'simple' first-order EOS form.
