AbstractAbstract
[en] The feasibility of using high-mass dihadron production to probe polarized gluon distribution in the nucleon is examined. Taking into account all hard subprocesses involved in leading-order dihadron production, we obtain good agreement between calculations and the CCOR π0-pair production data. We predict the π0-pair production cross sections and double-helicity asymmetry at RHIC energies. (author)
