[en] The solution of the problem of laser heat hardening of hypo eutectoid complex-alloyed steels is described. Parameters selected for heat hardening are given, the results obtained are analyzed, and the application field is shown. A base for development of the technology for laser heat hardening of crankshaft necks made from such steels is offered
