[en] An experimental electron beam sludge irradiation system was used to treat sludge to see the irradiation effects on suspended solids, including changes in TSS, VSS, COD, BOD and other parameters. Some results were collected and are shown in tables in the abstract. It seems that TSS decreased after the samples had been irradiated and VSS showed the same trend. No distinct change on COD has been found
