AbstractAbstract
[en] Using molecular dynamics (MD) computer simulations we recently studied nonideal classical ion-electron plasmas with an effective interaction where the Coulomb potential is modified at short distances. We present and discuss results of the dynamic structure factor and of the power spectrum of the electric microfield. In addition to considerable deviations from the weak coupling descriptions, e.g. the RPA, we also observed significant differences between a two- and a one-component plasma at plasma parameters Γ >or∼ 1.
