[en] Primary task of the Croatian energy sector legislative framework is improvement of the market performance, fostering the competition, as well as to consumers' protection. The paper speaks about the proposed new legislative framework (working document - draft version). Besides the draft energy law as the basic law for running business, organisation and functioning of the sector, as well as for the energy market implementation, three draft laws covering energy sector market were also prepared (electricity market draft law, gas market draft law, oil and oil derivatives market draft law). Energy sector regulation will be under the competence of the agency, whose foundation is expected to regulated by the Public service energy sector regulation (draft law). (author)
