AbstractAbstract
[en] Integrated process activities of connected power systems have a permanent purpose to balance public and/or private owners' interests of two or more subjects with the primary aim being (not only) profit. In the Republic of Croatia, former strictly centralised management of the connected power systems' activities, organised as vertically centralised entities, has been kept in the past few years. The restructuring process should start with the recognition of the following activities: monopoly and non-monopoly; equivalent, similar and different; main, subordinate and auxiliary that could through unbundling be given independence and responsibility as regards operational costs, development and future integration. The primary subject of the paper are alternatives and strategy beginnings in the vertical and horizontal integration of complex activities of the connected power systems in special conditions of privatisation, liberalisation and market regulation.
