AbstractAbstract
[en] Recently, special interest has been paid to the processes of high-temperature treatment of materials in the conditions in which heating is carried out by microwave radiation. A number of special features, observed in this heating method, i.e. the decrease of temperature and sintering time of the powder materials, acceleration of diffusion, increase of the vapours chemical reactions, etc., indicate promising aspects of the application of microwave radiation for a large number of technological processes. The present work is concerned with the measurement of static (at constant current) electrical conductivity of ceramic materials based on Al2O3 and ZrO2 in relation to temperature in the microwave heating conditions. To determine the direct effect of micro-irradiation on electric currents in the examine materials, we took compacting measurements of electrical conductivity in the presence and absence of the electromagnetic field
