[en] In this work, making use of the X-ray diffraction technique, it was determined the quantification of two phases which are mixed in a crystalline sample of rutile and anatase also it is indicated the method to proceed in its evaluation, so that in the end it will be had as result of a semi-quantitative analysis of the phases that are found in the sample. The conclusion is that this method performs in samples which are presented as powders and since the different parameters with which they must be fulfilled then this should not be called quantitative but semi-quantitative and it has a margin of error in its evaluation.
