AbstractAbstract
[en] The aim of the paper is to estimate the sensitivity of the dual energy method and its efficiency for discrimination of different materials. These estimations are carried out analytically and by the Monte Carlo method. It is shown that using the special methods of the data processing, obtained by variable scanning of tested objects, permits to suppress the noises and to discriminate four main groups of materials by their atomic number independently of the thickness

Цель работы - оценить чувствительность метода дуальной энергии тормозного излучения и его эффективность дискриминации разных материалов. Эти оценки выполняются аналитически и методом Монте-Карло. Показано, что применение специальных методов обработки данных, полученных при переменном сканировании тестируемых объектов, позволяет подавить шумы и дискриминировать четыре основные группы материалов по их атомному номеру независимо от толщиныOriginal Title
