[en] A kinetic model is proposed for the initiation of heavy metal azides (HMA) by laser and electron pulses, based on a hypothesis of HMA initiation due to the branching chain reactions. The analysis of the kinetics of the process during the stages of the generation of electron-hole pairs by pulsed radiation, the induction period, the extinction of the reaction depending on the energy density of an initiating pulse was carried out. It is shown that the model enables one to describe qualitatively and quantitatively almost all the effects observed in experimental imitation of HMA

Предложена кинетическая модель инициирования азидов тяжелых металлов (АТМ) под действием импульсов лазерного излучения и электронов, которая основана на гипотезе инициирования АТМ по механизму разветвленных цепных реакций. Проведен анализ кинетики данного процесса на стадиях образования электронно-дырочных пар под действием импульсного излучения, индукционного периода, периода затухания реакции в зависимости от плотности энергии инициирующего импульса. Показано, что указанная модель позволяет количественно и качественно описать почти все эффекты, наблюдаемые в экспериментах по инициированию АТМSource
