[en] The paper provides estimation and preliminary analysis of radioactive waste to be generated during decommissioning of the Magurele VVR-S research reactor in Romania. Volumes and expected characteristics of waste from dismantling and decontamination of different reactor components are analysed. Management of decommissioning radioactive waste and its toxic components are discussed. (author)
