AbstractAbstract
[en] Separation of uranium and iron present in the hydrochloric acid medium by supported liquid membrane was studied using Aliquat 336 as the carrier. Iron transportation across the supported liquid membrane was suppressed by the addition of ascorbic acid and hydrazine mixture. Iron decontamination factor in uranium product was found to be ten.
