AbstractAbstract
[en] The simulated metallic spent fuel was fabricated by using 9 fission product elements in order to study the oxidation kinetics in oxygen. The quantities of fission products were calculated by origen 2.1 code, simulated by 15, 33 and 50 GWd/tU burnups. The oxidation test was performed under 183∼250 .deg. C pure oxygen environment. The results show 33 GWd/tU specimen oxidizes fastest. The simulated fuels show the faster oxidation in the low temperature range, but the slower oxidation in the high temperature range compared with the pure uranium metal
