AbstractAbstract
[en] The reaction of hydrogen absorption metal with hydrogen gas was carried out in order to develop the temporary storage medium of hydrogen isotopes gas. The metals were activated at 450 .deg. C under vacuum conditions. The experimental results showed that the equilibrium pressure was lowered and the composition of metal-hydride was increased with lowering the reaction temperature. The hydriding metals were converted to the powder after the hydriding reaction. The experimental results of the reaction at room temperature showed that the equilibrium states were established within 1-2 minutes. The effect of helium concentration on the hydrogen absorption reaction was investigated. It was shown that the reaction rates were retarded with the increase of helium concentrations
