AbstractAbstract
[en] with the increase of using the radioactive materials and their isotopes in different life activity (industry, medicine, agriculture, ...etc.), amounts of hazardous materials resulted as waste from these activity representing a dangerous affects on the environment, therefore the scientists try to find out tools and methods for protecting the environment from these wastes and for safety disposal. from this methods: the evaporation, ion exchange, chemical precipitating , isolating the solid materials, biological methods, and the use of the natural materials for removal radioactive materials and the disposal. this thesis deals with the natural materials as carriers for removal the radioactive materials from the low level liquid w ast. we selected the sand soil of el-sharkia (el-salhea, belbies, inshass), red brick, and basalt stone, for treatment of low level liquid waste contains radioactive isotopes (Th,u,np,co,Cs,sr)usage a mixture from selected three materials homogeneous with ratio of sand soil, red brick, and basalt stone is 1:2:1 respectively, lead removal of 95% from the radioactive materials by adsorbing it at their surface at ph 7.5 ±
