AbstractAbstract
[en] The interaction of laser produced plasmas with the ambient gases is gaining importance in the thin film deposition of superconductors and other oxides. In the present experiment a Q-switched Nd:Y AG (DCR-4G, Spectra Physics) laser with pulse width of 5 ns at full width half maximum (FWHM), laser energy 6, 23, and 50 mJ (for different targets) at a repetition rate of 10 Hz, operating at 355 nm was used for creating plasma in vacuum, and in presence of oxygen and helium ambient gases
