[en] The ICRP has not published any recommendations as to how protection of the environmental should be carried out. The Commission has recently set up a task group with the aim of developing a protection policy for, and suggesting a framework of, environmental protection in order to feed into the Commission 's recommendations for the beginning of the 21 first century. This paper provides a progress report of the work of the task group. (N.C.)
