[en] The biggest electric power generators in Republic of Macedonia are the power blocks at Bitola Thermal Power Plant. Therefore, the reliability of their relay protection is of exclusive importance for the total Macedonian Power System. In this paper an approximate calculation of the relay protection reliability at the REK Bitola according to the collected statistical data in the course of the monitoring period is presented
