AbstractAbstract
[en] There are three kinds of rhyolites in Shouchang-Linpu Volcanic Rock Zone: Stratiform rhyolite, dome-like rhyolite and neck-like rhyolite, the last two are unstratified rhyolite. They separately belong to the flooding facies, intrusion out facies and volcanic neck faces. Three kinds of rhyolites are controlled by the core faults of the volcanic rock zone and the late volcanic structure. They cover and break a stage stratum of Shouchang formation, then, are broken by the sub-volcanic rock and the crypto-explosion rock which occur after first stage stratum of Shouchang formation, and locally covered by Henshan formation in the way of un-conformability. The isotope ages of the most of rhyolites is about 130 Ma, when is the transition period from late Jurassic epoch to early cretaceous epoch. According to strata sequence, breaking relation and isotope age, it is considered that three kinds of rhyolite are the products of the different rock facies of late formation period of volcanic rock zone, and probably the second stage horizon and geological body of Shouchang formation
