AbstractAbstract
[en] The development of the future plans and the fundamental researches of KUR-ADS (Kyoto University Research-Accelerator Driven Subcritical) reactor are explained. The results of researches showed that 1)the characters of ADS-reactor are affected by the characters of subcritical reactor, because neutron multiplication controlled the reactor, 2) detailed nuclear design need to improve the precision of the measurement and nuclear calculation method depends on neutron multiplication to be proportion to 1/(1-keff) and 3) dynamic characteristics calculation methods have to be developed. The researches of ADS-reactor using FFAG (Fixed-field alternating gradient)-reactor started in 2001. FFAG synchrotron introduced is 2.5 to 150 MeV energy variable reactor and gives precious information for evaluation of ADS-reactor as new neutron resources and energy amplification system. (S.Y.)
