AbstractAbstract
[en] The revised Paris Convention was conducted with reference to the revision of the Vienna convention which ended in 1997. It differs however on several aspects. The liability amounts for transports have been substantively increased to provide up to Euro 700 million in case of nuclear damage. A definition of damage was introduced and the scope of application was widely broadened in order to upgrade the indemnification of potential victims. The revised Paris Convention will impose the most stringent rules of liability for nuclear transport of international instruments. (author)
